If you've done any amount of browsing on my website or Facebook page, you've probably seen these beautiful pictures from Christabel and Andrew's wedding. Even though I'm blogging 3 days a week, somehow, I've neglected to dedicate an entire post to their special day. (For shame!...it's been OVER A YEAR!) When Christabel asked me to oversee her wedding weekend, I was so excited! When she told me who her photographer was, my inner fan-girl went crazy! Until October 12, 2013, I had only known Amanda Hedgepeth from social media. Meeting her changed my life in a small, but significant way. My soul started stirring. I didn't know it at the time, but I was getting ready for the path I'm on now. So, Christabel, thank you for letting me serve you on your wedding day, introducing me to Amanda, and birthing a new dream in me!
Christabel is Cal's cousin. I met her about 7 years ago, and I've been able to see her enter college, graduate from nursing school, and meet the love of her life. She and Andrew are one of the cutest couples I know, and their wedding was just as precious.
I'm just gonna stop here and stare at this ring for a second....
I LOOOOOOVE Christabel's gown from Maya Couture!
Christabel's relationship with Grandma is special. Being the only granddaughter, I imagine she grew up with a slight advantage over the boys, at least as far as Grandma's affection is concerned. Andrew proposed to Christabel under a tree in Grandma's back yard.
Andrew and Christabel saved their very first kiss for their wedding day. So cute!
Christabel was a full-on DIY bride. She was inventive and clever when it came to her wedding decor. Their tea-themed reception included a traditional afternoon tea menu. She made her bouquets and boutonnieres, and found decorations that fit her personality perfectly.
I'm a girl who loves tea...so of course I loved that she chose to use tea cups for their toast.
Old town Hampton was the perfect backdrop for portraits. It rained alllllll day, but it could not put a damper on these two!
Christabel selected a lavender toss send-off. This is pretty much one of my favorite photos ever!
