You know the couple that is adorable, no matter what they are doing? Well, that's Dani and Andrew. THE. CUTEST. Our initial coffee date: adorable. Rehearsal: adorable. Emails: adorable. SO SWEET!
I had the honor of coordinating their wedding weekend and it was A BLAST! Their ceremony and reception were held at Knox Presbyterian Church in Norfolk, VA. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, Knox was also the church where Dani's parents AND grandparents got married. The family history alone made it a special place. But to add to its value, it was the most precious church I've had the pleasure of working in. (Not to mention, the church wedding lady was the NICEST lady in the world!!! Love ya, Ms. Nancy!)
First, let me start by complimenting the entire wedding party. The rehearsal was the smoothest yet. (That's either me getting better at this, or them just being a well-behaved crowd. Let's go with the latter.) Dani had her sisters, bridesmaids, parents, in laws, and more all pitching in their time and effort to decorate, craft, bake, etc. It was truly a group project, which reminded me a lot of my wedding. In fact, their wedding day made me miss my own. They were a joy! I'm super excited because Dani's little sister, Haleigh, is getting married next Winter....and I get to be there!!
My girl, Daytona, was seriously on her game all day. I CANNOT wait to see her professional photos. For now, enjoy the ones I took on my iPhone.
I didn't take very many pictures, so I don't have one of just Dani and Andrew. Fortunately, they weren't relying on me to capture the moments!
Dani and Andrew are off to Mexico to honeymoon near the ocean. Ya know, I start to think my couples really love me, but they never take me with them when they go exploring all these wonderful places. ;)
I have to give a shout out to my SUPER-HELPFUL-MIND-READING-SIDEKICK, my mom. That lady....psshhh, I don't know what I'd do without her on wedding days. Next year, when it comes time to find interns, they have some pretty important shoes to fill. (And I don't know why we never take a picture together on wedding day. Making mental note for next time.)
