This post is going to be a short dedication to my valentine. My darling husband, who puts up with me, deserves to be recognized. Since launching my business, he has always been here, cheering for me. If you don't stop and smell the roses (aka: thank those that support you), shame on you. Shame on me for not mentioning him more.
When I said "Cal, I want to start a wedding planning business," he said "Go for it!" Every time I have to spend money (website, business costs, props for shoots, gas, etc), he reminds me that it's necessary. He also helps to reign me in when I'm maybe going a little overboard. When I sit at the computer for HOURS trying to perfect just ONE blog post, he's across the room, waiting on me. I am constantly badgering him to proof read things for me. I cannot thank him enough.
Since we have been married, we haven't spent a single Valentine's Day together. Being in the service industry, we don't get that privilege. Instead, he spends his V-Day making sure other couples enjoy their time together. That's pretty much a metaphor for his life: putting others first. I admire him for that.
Thank you, Cal. You're a great husband, my #1 fan, and my eternal Valentine! xo
