Thankful for Mondays

It's LEAP DAY!!!!! Y'all! Leap Day! I know it's not really a big deal, but it's fun to me because it's weird to have this extra day.

This weekend, my uncle took our fireplace from drab to fab! He had some leftover glass tiles from his home project and was so nice to give us the rest AND install them! I am feeling so fancy over here. Time to go make the tea and scones...

Please ignore the dirty fireplace...it's on my list to have cleaned (That was for you, mom!)

In case you don't follow me on Instagram, you should know that Cal and the company we work for are in SOUTHERN LIVING MAGAZINE this month! I'm so excited, I even danced in the aisle Home Depot when we saw it.

That's our food on the left and Cal is in the shot on the right. PAGE 62!

I really to treasure any downtime that I get to have by myself. It's a rare thing, a quiet Saturday morning on the couch, but this weekend, it happened. The cats kept me company as I binge watched Fuller House. You must know that, like any other female my age, I loved Full House when it came on the first time. Over the years, I have watched umpteen episodes on tv and hoped a reunion would always become a thing. Well, it has...and I kind of hate it. The first episode was SO CHEESY, I had a difficult time finishing it. (And I like cheese!) Fortunately, the show is growing on me. Kimmy Gibbler is the best one on the show, in my opinion. Am I dying to watch every episode right away? Not really. Will I put off cleaning my bathroom to finish the episode I'm on? Nah. But when there's nothing else to do, I'll watch it.

Another great thing happened in the past several days, I booked two weddings. The two brides are ladies I already adore and cannot wait to share more! :) :)

Happy Monday!
